All right, we are ready to go special trip today.

It's always a special trip, right? Yes.

So we're going to go we're going to go.

This is the time of the year.

This is cool.

We've done this a couple times some special stuff happens.

We're going to get out of the happening right way.

I'm gonna get crashed into we're gonna go out last year.

We fished a special spot that you were like amazed with that secret spot like the secret spot way back.

Yeah, way out the lake.

Oh so we're going back to that there's another secret spot.

Oh, okay.

I can't show you all the secret spots.

All in one year, it takes a little time.

So that's, what we're doing today fellas.

We are going out on lake okeechobee and we're gonna I'm gonna take her to a special special spot.

Now pretty muddy it's a little muddy.

We might have to move.

Yeah, that's.

Pretty muddy.

Okay.

Just gotta run down a little farther.

So that's, the number one rule here on okeechobee guys before you even fish, I don't care where you go just check water clarity.

I took this white swim jig and dropped it in the water and I and I lose it at about shoot, I've lost it like that that's like less than a foot less than a foot.

Not good what's.

Crazy is you can be really catching them, and it gets muddy like this.

And they just just don't bite that.

Well so we're going to go down a little bit farther that's where I wanted to check anyway.

So I was really going to go to this other spot and uh, let's, see what see what it looks like we'll find clear water.

I can only see that that far here, what the heck how'd you get those? Did you put them in there? No they come with it.

Come with it.

Never use.

It break it up like that there we go, hey, put your jig in the water and see it.

So we have to have a contest.

I mean, come here this this just I'll let you say it, whatever you want to whatever you want it to be the biggest one biggest one, yeah, biggest one we'll.

Do biggest one biggest one, yeah, oh, well, you're, cashing already, they're, still here, dude, they're.

Still here, oh you missed.

It, literally you missed him.

Hold on crap.

My line's all messed up that was awesome guys check that out check that out uh-huh.

What do you give me on that one give me on that? Two, whoa, oh, my gosh.

You got a big one, no, what are you doing? You mean, what am I doing? What are you doing? Why are you missing them? I'm all right? Pounder.

Two pounder, right? I missed it right? My drag's a little messed up.

I didn't check my drag that's.

Okay, we're gonna tighten it we're gonna go back in there and catch fish.

Dad, can you unwrap that? Thank you? All right? Oh, my god, right? Here.

Ready? Can't.

Tell anybody about this spot? Oh, you shook my craw off.

You target came out like a glove.

Oh my gosh, my nails, can't, grab it.

I still got you beat.

Yeah, you do still got your beat.

Yeah, that one was oh crap.

I threw mine back without even yeah crap that now it doesn't count that was like a one and a half if you're out for worm fishing like with a soft classic worm.

You can let them eat it.

Hey, I think that's the biggest one it is the biggest one all right.

Let me look.

We gotta get it.

I gotta get my scale out.

I do think this one beats yours, I'll get my scale out actually they're about the same.

No, no, that's, definitely bigger.

You sure 100 percent well, appreciated two and a half.

Yeah, two and a half.

It was pushing three.

I think two and a half I'll, put them on your side.

Yeah, put them in the boat, put them in the boat.

Baby do my little happy dance.

I got the biggest fish so far.

I want to catch six though so that's what we're going for so guys.

This is pretty cool little spot right here.

It's way out in the lake there's, lots of grass out here.

But this spot right here is kind of a special one.

This one I've been fishing since I was a kid like my literally hillary, my first tournament, I ever fished when I was like 14 with my friend that was 14.

Yeah, we didn't win.

We came in third, and we we caught them right here all right, yeah.

But back then we caught them on like rattle trap.

We didn't know what we were doing like we're just we're just doing weird stuff, but we caught them and it's crazy how in the mornings.

And this is also a spot that I would come in the mornings a lot of times in tournaments on the lake.

And I would say, let's, go get five real quick.

So we could pull up here like that quick and catch five.

They didn't, you know, sometimes they only weigh 12 pounds.

Sometimes they weigh like 15 or 16.

It just gives you five fish like instantly, uh, we landed on that that's, crazy.

Huh? We just literally stopped the boat right on the first half, boom, there they are that's a big, dude, really, I think so yeah, I saw it.

I saw it jump.

I think, yeah, it's a good.

One it's a good one, not big, but it's a good one.

I saw a jump.

So it was like how you got the two biggest ones nice.

Heck, yes.

Look at the belly on that.

Dude, look at that.

Oh, my gosh, that's like a three.

So yeah, solid.

Three.

Look at the y'all check out this lego glass.

This is how you know they are eating.

Well, look at that belly, y'all little fatties, little fatties, it's, literally a three pounder and a two pound body.

Yeah.

So cool don't, throw them back, put them in the middle.

Okay.

That's.

Great.

It's.

Crazy, get a nice picture at the end of the day, that's cool.

So googan squad teamed up with catch co and catch code made these lures designed by the googan squad.

And that is the grass hero.

Jig, a couple things I like about it.

Real quick, it's got a really most important thing.

It's got the perfect size hook, right, not too big or too thick.

But yet not too light wire it's like the perfect size.

So you could throw it on mono.

You can throw it on braid.

You can kind of get the job done it's got the great angle right here.

I love that little angle.

So as you come through the grass, it literally lifts up and goes over the grass.

So they did a great design there and this weed guard.

Instead of a round reed guard.

It is a flat weed guard.

So it's a little wider than normal see how that's flat and it's obviously clear they've got clear strands instead of like black strands or white strands and anyways, hand-tied skirts.

So the skirts aren't pulling down, which is important.

And I got that rigged up on the little googan, baits, rattling chunk, um, yeah.

Seven six.

This is a uh, favorite.

Seven, six hillary's got the seven three, which I really prefer for some jigs.

But this is the seven six more like my flipping stick.

But it does get the job done 50 pound, p-line, x and good to go.

I will give you one good tip here.

When you're reeling these swim jigs through this thick grass like this, like that there we go you just reel it.

Yeah, it's.

Pretty good.

You just reel it.

When you're starting to get hung up don't jerk the rod, just like four wheel, drive it with the reel, and that keeps that swim jig coming through the grass.

Perfect.

Look at that guys, they like it.

They like it still not as big as yours hill.

You still got me got a three pounder lead in the tournament right now.

Three pounder, oh, dad, don't.

You dare don't you dare I saw it.

First, oh you're.

Are you hung up? Are you hung up? I'm? Sorry.

I do not like you.

You saw it first.

How do we prove that who's gonna catch it? Who's gonna catch it? Oh, gosh.

There's, a good.

One, that's, a good.

One, that's, a big one right there? I think so I think so feels pretty big he's, giant giant giant.

What happened one blew up? Right? There.

He's, giant.

Look at that.

One he's, not giant.

I just like saying giant, but he is maybe the biggest one.

I don't know, I don't know, that's like really really really close I'm.

Gonna say yours is a little fatter a little chunkier that is so fun.

Guys.

It was a neat bite, and I will say this another tip on this is, you know we talked about the jig we talked about reeling.

It just constantly reeling it, not jerking the rod when you start to get hung up.

The other thing is braid is super important.

Because if I was out here with monofilament or fluorocarbon, you could not get these fish out of this grass that is really super thick grass, very hard, it's like stalks, it's like cane can't get those fish out they'll wrap you up so definitely ring up a rubber braided line.

That's a nice one? Right? There? Guys, yeah, I'm gonna take mom out here.

Can we go out tomorrow morning? That's, bacon, dude, that's gonna be vegan.

It's gotta be a vegan.

Oh, that is a good.

Oh dude, is it no it's? Not it's, not a bacon, it's, a good one, though it's, definitely a good one, it's, it's, a big one, you know, if you think of all golly all right, it's a belly, dude, barely hooked check that out barely hooked literally just slipped out like a glove.

That's, awesome, check out.

The spas y'all, not a big one, not the biggest, but definitely a better one out of today's fish.

What do you think pretty one pretty one? I like these okeechobee bass check out the spots on that fin, wait actually, look, dad, there's spots on the fence, little black spots on the fin that is really cool.

That's, a neat color, all right, let's check her back.

Oh, I tried.

I tried the martin special, but I didn't get it the patented martin's special.

Oh, oh my gosh.

I'd even know I had one dad it literally, as soon as it hit as soon as it hit, I got I don't, even I didn't know, I had one that's crazy, oh my gosh, that was so weird.

I literally, as soon as I hit the water, I started reeling, and I just felt it like, I felt it heavy.

And I didn't know, I had one that was so weird.

So the biggest one what's up go down and lift it or whatever choked.

It you're, not only beating my big fish, but you are absolutely crushing me on numbers today and I'm, very proud of you.

And you've got the swim chick thing down, pat, I mean, you're just really really doing well.

Thank you.

Dad.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Nice one get out.

Oh, yeah, you are the champ you're the champ again, I don't know like like seriously, guys, I did not lay up this one like I was straight up trying to like beat you.

Okay, yeah.

And you did fantastic.

So I could not be more proud of you hillary.

How about that guys drop a comment below? Let me know what you think her hook sets her fighting the fish all that she's just learning so much about fishing and it's awesome to be able to go from, you know, swimming worms to flipping now swim jigs and top water, all the different things you've done.

Uh, you know, every time we go out, and we kind of experience a new lure, you know, that's just another tool in your toolbox or your tackle box.

You know that you can use.

So it was awesome.

Uh, we didn't catch any real big ones out here.

But don't tell me about this spot.

I mean, this spot this particular little secret.

Secret family, secret, right here, it's passed down from great grandfathers.

Okay.

I had a lot of fun though it was really like we literally landed right on him.

It was really cool.

Oh, yeah.

First cast.

He got one.

Yeah, I got one like my second cast, you did great.

Thank you so much for all the support do me a huge favor drop a comment down below and share the videos out and uh, huge huge.

Thank you to catch co googan squad for making some pretty cool lures.

Right? There grass here, we'll drop a link in the description down below for those as well and uh and that's.

It guys.

We we are gone.

We are gone.

We'll, see, ya, bam, you.
