My Project
The sensory bin project will enable all my special needs students to experience different textures and relate them to their peers. This will give the students the opportunity to explore with their peers. The sensory bins will include jumbo animals, sensory noodles, and other tactile materials that will encourage social interactions with fellow students. This will increase their use of language and self-confidence as they play and enjoy the different textures with their peers.
I teach an early childhood special education class that caters to children from 3 to 5 years old with development delays.
This bin will make learning a joy for my students and I appreciate your consideration.
