This was really good and so easy to make. I used ciabatta bread and I used my pannini press instead of using a heavy skillet. My son put thousand island dressing on his. I served it with a 3 bean salad. Will definitly be making this again.

I made this for the first time last night for my family with guests over and everyone raved about the sandwiches! I used Ciabatta bread and pressed in a Panini maker, also added a little oregano and it turned out excellent, very flavorful! Will definitely make this a family favorite recipe.

This recipe was absolutely delicious. I skipped the focaccia bread and used individual rolls instead. My whole family loved it and I loved how simple it was for a weeknight dinner.

I held back a little on the vinegar because DD doesn't usually like it but next time I'll make it the way the recipe says exactly. Very flavorful using our panini maker and freshly baked focaccia bread. I would add a sprinkle of rosemary to the onion/pepper mixture. Definitely a keeper of a recipe and we will add this to our regular rotation.

Delicious & very easy! Used chicken breast instead of the tenders and sliced each in half (horizontally) so that they were thin and cooked quickly. Cooked as recipe indicated and was universally loved by family. Had some leftovers for next day's lunch - added thinly sliced nectarine & baby spinach to the sandwich and ate it cold - still great! Definitely a keeper and something to add to our rotation.

I thought this was excellent - of course you need to use good balsamic which makes the meal. I also used low calorie buns and next time will add some mushrooms - but the whole family enjoyed it and I will make it again!

I thought this was good, but not great. I was actually surprised it didn't have more flavor. My husband ended up adding ketchup; not a great sign! I also used ciabatta rolls.

This is good...I think the way I make it needs a little tweeking. First of all my foccacia from Fresh Market was just tooooo thick, even the big guys had trouble getting their mouths around it. I do admit that I "eyeballed" the salt and pepper which is how I cook...but definitely need more seasoning. The cheese...my provolone was sliced too thing...either more cheese or thicker slices.. Will keep this in my arsenal.! Thanks for sharing.

Everyone loved it! I bought Ciabatta rolls, cut in half and broiled. Melted the low sodium provolone cheese on the rolls under the broiler. My husband said "This is a Keeper"!

Made this exactly to the recipe, except used fontina cheese and a store-bought olive & parmesan foccacia (yum!). I would recommend broiling the cheese onto the bread in the last few minutes the filling is cooking, then assembling and pressing for a warm, crispy, cheesy, deliciously fantastic sandwich. Bon appetit! :) :) :)

Made these exactly as the recipe states except used for the bread, Flat-Out Flatbreads (only 1 WW point) and they were AMAZING!! Also pounded the chicken cutlets before cutting them into tenders. Grilled it in the George Foreman grill...absolutely perfect. I cut the onions and peppers VERY thin, I think that helped make it so delicious. My boyfriend said it one of the best sandwiches he has ever had anywhere, restaurant or otherwise. :)

This sandwich has wonderful flavor. I drizzled a little olive oil on the bread and added a little extra vinegar to have more sauce. Good leftovers. I served this with a mixed green salad and some root vegetable chips.

Yummy!! So easy, and so tasty. I've done it a few times, with different cheeses and different breads, depending on what is fresh in my house, and it has always been great! Serve with some fresh fruit, and your guests will tell you that it's just like having lunch out at a gourmet restaurant!

Basalmic vinegar is one of those things where you get what you pay for. Always buy one aged at least 5 years. The older ones you can eat directly from a teaspoon they are so mellow. The cheap stuff is disgusting as some of you found out when you used it. This is a great recipe but they should have warned less experienced cooks about the balsamic issues.

Very tasty sandwiches. I used breasts pounded even & cut in half to better fit the sandwich buns (& they stayed in the sandwich better). Also found shredded italian blend cheese works well for melting quickly, especially if you assemble them in a panini press. This went well with the Orzo Salad (2002). It will be going in our regular rotation for sandwich night.

This is a week night mainstay for our family. It takes only a few minutes to get it on the table, and everyone loves it (including my two meat-centric teenage boys). The balsamic vinegar adds just enough of a sweet tang to make the chicken delicious, and my boys even eat the vegetables! I use whatever bread I happen to have on hand -- ciabatta, foccacia, even pita -- and whatever cheese I happen to have, and it's always delicious.
